This is a phase IV prospective, randomized open label evaluation of the efficacy of once daily protease inhibitor and once daily non nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor containing therapy combinations for initial treatment of HIV-1 infected individuals from resource limited settings (PEARL) trial.
2. ACTG 5199 [PI: Dr SP Tripathy] 
Neurological study to estimate the prevalence of ADC in participants in resource limited settings who have advanced disease (< 300 CD4 cells count/cu mm) and who are treatment naive. Also to estimate the prevalence of HIV related neurological OI in participants in resource limited settings who have advanced disease (< 300 CD4 cells count/cu mm) and who are treatment naïve and to estimate changes in neurocognitive functioning with initiation of ART regimen in resource limited settings

An exploratory, observational, prospective, cross sectional study designed to construct diagnostics strategies for identifying pulmonary TB in HIV-1 infected participants.

This is an observational study to evaluate neurocognitive functioning of HIV uninfected individuals in Resourced-Limited Settings.

Institutional Activity 
Care Protocol 
A protocol for providing standardized care and support to HIV infected individuals attending NARI clinics and to create and maintain a uniform database across all the clinics for all referred individuals and previous NARI participants.
