  • Controlled clinical trial evaluating the short course (RNTCP) regimens in pulmonary tuberculosis in HIV infected Patients (Study 20 a)
  • Controlled Clinical trial of Preventive therapy for tuberculosis in HIV infected patients(Study 20 b)
  • Study of Efficacy and tolerability of Moxifloxacin and Gatifloxacin containing regimens in the patients with sputum positive pulmonary tuberculosis (Study 22)
  • Study to assess the nutritional status of HIV infected patients and Nutritional intervention (Nutrition study)
  • Evaluation of safety and efficacy of two different once daily anti-retroviral treatment regimens along with anti-tuberculosis treatment in patients with HIV-1 and Tuberculosis. (Study 23)

Awards:
The paper titled “Impact of HIV Infection on Chest Radiographic findings in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis” which was presented at the National Conference on Management of HIV/AIDS in Resource restricted settings at Mumbai during Feb 2004 bagged the 2nd prize for the best poster presentation

  • Passed CRC (Clinical Research Coordinator) certification examination conducted by ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals)
  • Completed the CITI Basic course on Health Research(Ethical principles) on 26.09.2006 and scored 100% and also Refresher/recertification for the same in May 2009.
