  • Participated in Asia Pacific Congress on Medical Virology held at India Habitat Center, New Delhi on 13-15 November 2006 and presented the poster entitled, “Measles Genotype D7 is Indigenous in India” by Vaidya SR, et al in proceedings of the conference.
  • Participated in WHO-ICMR Workshop on “Molecular surveillance network for Measles in India” held on 17-18 October 2005 at Hotel Raj vilas, Panshet Pune.

Awards:
  • Recipient of ICMR Young Scientist (Shakuntala Amirchand) award-2002 for the significant contribution in Biomedical Research specifically studies on environmental molecular virology of hepatitis viruses.
  • Recipient of National Overseas PhD Fellowship award (2004-05) given by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
  • Nominated for Marquis Who’s who in Asia for Medicine and Healthcare 2006, 7th Edition.
