    Research Experience:

    Research Area: Nutrigenomics of complications of diabetes and obesity. Major thrust is to understand the molecular basis of complications of diabetes and obesity that includes evaluation of nutritional status, effect of functional foods, identification of susceptible factors (genetic, nutritional and other environmental factors) and biomarkers, and developing suitable animal models.
