The pilot study
of the intervention phase was done in the Mehrauli Area. Mehrauli
was selected because it was very near to Safdarjang Hospital
and as the staff had to go to the field for the interventions,
the first point kept in mind was easy accessibility to the
field. Though in terms of distance the Mehrauli ICDS area
was not very near to the Safdarjang Hospital but it had easy
accessibility in terms of transportation. Out of the entire
ICDS Mehrauli two areas were selected.
